1. I had never heard of Diigo before this assignment. I am still not sure I quite understand what exactly it is and all of its uses, but from what I can tell so far, it seems like a great website for collaborative research and education. I would utilize this website if I were compiling a list of sources for either a personal paper or a group project. I both do and do not like the website format/presentation of Diggo. It does not appear to be very user-friendly, however, by the same measure, it appears very academic database-looking. Once I figured out how to navigate the website, it was gratifying to use.  2. Blogging is a form of writing I want to get more practice with, especially since my career goals align with informal/personal writing. What I like about blogging is it allows for the influence of personal bias and anecdotes. What I do not like, is that is not a very private practice, so you have to be mindful about your audience, whoever they might be. What I have learned abou...

 1. Instagram is a huge part of my PLN, as I utilize the bookmark feature to save educational videos into specific folders for my different interests. For example, I have an "Italiano," "sustainable cooking," and "recipe" folder which I save videos and rewatch daily. I love to learn about different ways to combine flavors and to be earth-friendly while in the kitchen, and Instagram provides me with those resources.  2. The digital divide in classrooms around the world is a very prominent topic. On one end, I have seen how technology has been a HUGE tool for catapulting education. For example, my host brother from Italy learned English, Spa...

Students in these grade levels are expected to logistically analyze and utilize technological functions such as search webs and creation platforms. An emphasized topic of study is understanding the steps to problem solve without being told explicitly, or in other words, intrinsic problem-solving. I feel prepared to educate students on this skill set because I enjoy helping people utilize their own intelligent abilities to solve problems.  I also feel prepared because I had sufficient training in these areas when I was in 6-8th grade.  2. After looking over the resources offered by CPALMS, it seems like an amazing resource that teachers can utilize as guides for their lesson plans and assignments. It never really occurred to me to consider where teachers get materials for their lessons. This definitely...
