1. The Florida Computer Science Standards for grades 6-8 is the step over the threshold where students begin to create, explore, and analyze certain elements of technology. Students in these grade levels are expected to logistically analyze and utilize technological functions such as search webs and creation platforms. An emphasized topic of study is understanding the steps to problem solve without being told explicitly, or in other words, intrinsic problem-solving. I feel prepared to educate students on this skill set because I enjoy helping people utilize their own intelligent abilities to solve problems. I also feel prepared because I had sufficient training in these areas when I was in 6-8th grade. 2. After looking over the resources offered by CPALMS, it seems like an amazing resource that teachers can utilize as guides for their lesson plans and assignments.
