 1. Doing the Web page assignment taught me to use a lot of formatting skills such as contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity principles. For example, I ensured that the text and backgrounds contrasted by choosing black text on a white or light blue background. In addition, I ensured that the photos of the assigned readings were aligned. The biggest formatting skill that I learned was how to include a Creative Commons license. What I liked about the assignment was the artistic freedom I felt to make my website my own with only having to adhere to basic artistic principles.

2. I use AI in my daily life a decent amount. I wouldn't say I use it every day but definitely multiple times a week. I find that it is a great tool to culminate research that would take me much longer to extract from the internet. I apply this tool for practical and unacademic uses. For example, when I travel I ask for itineraries for that specific country or city, or when I draw a blank on what to cook for myself I type in my parameters and it produces recipes. I think that encouraging students to embrace the AI they have access to instead of banning it will promote healthier habits around the usage of AI.

3. Chat GPT is probably one of the most commonly used AI tools in classrooms today. I discovered chat GPT when it was still somewhat new, so I have a lot of experience with its uses and parameters. My motivation to use AI usually lies in my heavy workload that begs for release from some assignments. However, when I do use it, it doesn't come without a sentiment of guilt. Due to this, I think teachers can prevent their student's use of AI by being conscience about workload so students can self-produce the totality of their work.

4. YES. I do think AI produces productivity. I think this is the intention of AI. Of course, there are caveats and things to watch out for when using AI, but as a whole, it shortens the amount of time needed for research as it condenses everything you may need in a fraction of the time. I would implement AI into my lesson plans and teach students a healthy way of using the tools available to them. I think that teaching moderation instead of complete restriction would encourage healthy habits around AI usage in the classroom.
